Today’s business world requires graduates with an understanding of all aspects of business, who are able to think critically and act decisively. Designed in collaboration with the University’s Business Key Advisory Group, high-profile academics and industry experts, this course prepares you for business challenges by providing you with high level skills across key aspects of business as well as deeper knowledge in an area of chosen specialisation. The course also offers invaluable experience of working within industry through annual placements.

The Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) is a full-time, three-year course which will be on offer from September 2018 at the University of Gibraltar’s School of Business.

MBA in 4 years:
On successful completion of the BBA, you will have the opportunity to articulate into a one year accelerated MBA program.
You will have the opportunity to stay and work in Gibraltar for up to two years following completion of your degree.

What is a BBA (Hons)?
A BBA is strongly associated with business. It is practically orientated, providing a grounding in all key aspects of business (e.g., accounting, marketing, management, organisational skills), with a view to developing a business professional rather than knowledge in one particular discipline.
Typically, applicants for the BBA will have:
- A required BCC at ‘A level’, and a strong GCSE profile (5 GCSEs A-C) or international equivalent.
- The required passes in GCSE Maths and English (A-C standard grade, or equivalent).
- The ability to communicate their ideas effectively in writing, in discussions and presentations. Basic IT skills, such as word-processing, email and Internet.
English Language Requirements:
- An overall IELTS test result of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in all sub-tests. Equivalent awards will be considered (e.g. Pearson’s Test of English, Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English, City & Guilds International ESOL 8984, or the TOEFL- IBT test of English proficiency).
