Student Perspective | Jonathan Ferdinand | BBA (Hons)

Coming to the University of Gibraltar means you get the chance to experience different cultures, surrounded by a spectacular part of the world.

What brought you to the University of Gibraltar, and how have you found it so far?

I came to the University of Gibraltar to allow me to live somewhere completely different from where I am from whilst also furthering my career in accountancy. After this degree, I expect to go back into accountancy and work towards a CFO position. The experience so far has been highly positive. I have found the university to live up to my expectations, and the beautiful location and engaging course have reassured me of my decision to come here. The tutors care about your journey, and the content is very interesting. I believe this is because the university staff and students have a close working relationship. Because of the small class sizes, you don’t get lost in a sea of people. Support will always be there if you need it, something larger universities find hard to accommodate.
