About this Micro-Credential

This Micro-Credential focuses on responsible leadership in the face of constant change within organisations. It aims to instil leadership that efficiently plans and implements change while considering sustainability, ethics, and stakeholder interests. The curriculum draws from globally recognised bodies, emphasising practical and theoretical aspects from leading organisations like the Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative and the United Nations Global Compact.
In this Micro-Credential, you will study diagnosing and communicating the need for change, fostering innovation, and managing change across boundaries. In today’s competitive and globalised economy, the ability to lead and manage change is vital for organisational success.
The content aims to provide both theoretical and practical insights into responsible leadership, emphasising foundational concepts and integrating them throughout the course. It employs case studies, debates, and applied problems to offer a holistic understanding of responsible leadership and change management, preparing you for leadership roles in dynamic modern organisations.

Entry Profile

Typically, all applicants will *:
  • Possess a good first degree awarded by a UK university or overseas equivalent.
  • Be able to communicate ideas effectively in writing, in discussions and presentations. Basic IT skills, such as word-processing, email and Internet are expected.
  • Have work experience; we value diversity of experience in our student body, therefore we welcome applications from recent graduates who have undertaken meaningful placements as well as those with all levels of work experience. We are more interested in the impact that you have had in your workplace than the length of time spent.
*The ethos of micro-credentials is to open a pathway for any individual who wishes to take on new learning and, in this spirit, applications will be reviewed on a case-by case basis where candidates may not precisely meet the stated entry requirements.
 
English Language Requirements:
  • An overall IELTS test result of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in all sub-tests. Equivalent awards will be considered (e.g. Pearson’s Test of English, Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English, Duolingo English Test, City & Guilds International ESOL 8984, or the TOEFL- IBT test of English proficiency).
