About this course

In a world where social media has the most influence in reaching out to the masses, this online course on Introduction to Digital Marketing will focus on the strategic aspects of advertising, usability, analytics and marketing. You will gain knowledge on basic principles of digital marketing, develop the skills required to deal with real-world business problems and exploit digital business opportunities.
Sessions will be delivered virtually by your tutor via our online virtual learning platform (Canvas).
You will explore a range of digital marketing tools including, digital advertising, digital video, search engines and social media. You will also learn how to run a basic campaign on different digital advertising platforms as well as understand the basics of web analytics and search engine optimisation.
To show your level of knowledge and understanding on these topics, at the end of the course, there will be a Multiple Choice Test.

The University is accredited by the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Certification Service.  This means that we provide recognised independent continuous professional development accreditation compatible with global CPD principles.

Delegates who participate in CPD activities are at the advantage of ensuring that their academic and practical qualifications do not become outdated: allowing individuals to continually ‘upskill’ or ‘re-skill’ themselves, regardless of occupation, age or educational level. Our course have CPD certification and therefore carry CPD points.

Paid Search Advertising Discover the basic concepts, services and tools, which are used on a daily basis to develop and optimise professional advertising campaigns using search engines. You will cover the fundamentals to setup advertising campaigns using Google Ads.
Social Media & Video Advertising Learn how to setup advertising campaigns on the most popular social media applications such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
Introduction to Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Understand the basic concepts, services and techniques, which are used by SEO experts on a daily basis.
Introduction to Google Analytics & Tag Manager Analyse the fundamental of web analytics that enable digital marketers to setup KPIs (key performance indicators) and improve paid and organic campaigns based on specific metrics’ performance.

Nicolás Collebechi is a postgraduate lecturer of Cryptoeconomics & Digital Marketing at Buenos Aires Institute of Technology (ITBA) and has authored books on blockchain technology. Nicolás has vast experience in all Internet Marketing areas including SEO/SEM, PPC Platforms, Social Media Marketing, Affiliate Programs & Web 2.0 Marketing, Analytics, Affiliate Programs, Conversion Tracking, Adserving Technologies, Mobile Marketing, Email Marketing, Exchange Platforms.
In addition to the above, he also specialises in Management of Interdisciplinary Teams, SEO/SEM, Web 2.0 Marketing, Affiliate Programs, Social Media Marketing, PPC Platforms, Adserving Technologies, Exchange Platforms, Email Marketing, Analytics, Mobile Marketing.
