" Nursing is different to other degree courses. We have to meet the same shifts as our qualified colleagues while also studying, writing our next assignment, chasing people to sign our proficiencies and panicking about practical assessments. It has not been easy for us. But throughout this we’ve been supported by our families, partners and friends. Those closest to us have been vital in keeping us motivated and helping us through our highs and lows. Some of these wonderful people are sitting with us today and we would like them to know how much we appreciate what they have done for us."
