" In 2007 I graduated from Winchester School of Art (Southampton University) with a First Class Honours degree in Textile design. I spent the following years working in London and designing for high street brands, gaining invaluable experience in the textiles and fashion industry. When I moved to Gibraltar, I wanted to be able to share my experiences and knowledge with the younger generation and push the importance of creativity in schools. The PGCE at Gibraltar University offered a fantastic opportunity for me, as a mature student with young children, to study to become a secondary school teacher. Although the course was intense and a year full of challenges, I feel incredibly excited and well prepared to start my teaching journey."
