IMPORTANT: Only users with a unigib user account will be able to connect to the EduroamWIFI connection.
- On your mobile device go to WIFI connections and select the WIFI connection “eduroam”
- You will be prompted with a user login. Enter your unigib e-mail address and password (Same credentials used to access your unigib mail account).
- Depending on the device and/or settings you might be prompted to trust the certificate.
You will now be connected to the Eduroam WIFI and your device will connect automatically next time your device is in range.
What is eduroam
Eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community.
Eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop/ipad or mobile device.
The University of Gibraltar provides home and visited eduroam services. The service is available via the wireless SSID eduroam, in and around our Europa Point Campus.
