The University of Gibraltar is delighted to announce the launch of Series Four of its popular Gibraltar History Lectures.
Delivered by expert speakers, each of these lectures explores defining aspects of Gibraltar’s unique history and uncovers the stories behind them. Series Four will cover topics including Yanito Heritage, the 1969 border closure, Gibraltar’s horse racing track and our relationship with the European Union.
The series runs for ten weeks and all lectures take place at our Europa Point Campus on Friday mornings between 10-11am. These events are free, all you need to do is register your attendance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 200 71000 ext 808.
The first lecture, entitled ‘The Goatherd’s Path: A 300 year old mystery lost in history and translation?’ by the Hon. Roy Clinton MP, takes place on Friday 20thApril.
