The primary function of the University of Gibraltar’s library is to support academic enquiry through the provision of information. Our library therefore supports students, staff and researchers by providing a physical space and resources to be able to carry out their studies.
WHAT FACILITIES DO WE PROVIDE?
The library holds a mix of both hardcopy and electronic resources to suit the individual user’s needs. These include internet-ready pc terminals as well as searchable electronic databases of the library’s holdings. There are also facilities for photocopying (for a small fee) as well as areas to study.
CAN I BORROW BOOKS?
The University Library is in the main a reference library, but University students, staff and Associate researchers can borrow books.
WHEN CAN I VISIT THE LIBRARY?
Currently, our opening hours are from 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Access to PCs and the study areas is available between 9:30am and 8:00pm Monday to Friday.
