Student Perspective | Mariela Perez Ponzanelli | Master in Marine Science & Climate Change

MSc Marine Science & Climate Change
12th October 2022

How has your experience of the programme and the university been so far?

I made the choice to come and study at the University of Gibraltar because of the amazing location and brilliant study programme and so far the university has not disappointed one bit! The university has gone above and beyond making sure my adaptation process goes smoothly and has met my expectations academically. I have found that student life at the University of Gibraltar is balanced and ideal to learn and be happy at the same time.

What do you expect to do once you graduate?

I expect to acquire the necessary tools to combat anthropogenic climate change and protect marine life to the best of my abilities.

“The University is a different institution where students are treated as individuals and learning is seen as the key to success and a means by itself.”

– Mariela Perez Ponzanelli
