University of Gibraltar Celebrate Official Opening of the Maritime Academy Simulation Centre

The University of Gibraltar has established a Business Key Advisory Group to guide decisions regarding programme and short course offerings in the this area. The group is exploring opportunities regarding formal degrees, professional body qualifications, practical skills and specialist training as well as leadership development offerings in the business sector.
The Group, chaired by Stephen Reyes, Managing Partner of Deloitte Gibraltar, plays an important role in ensuring that the University offering is relevant to local needs in the areas of business.
Members include: Stephen Reyes – Chairman (Managing Partner, Deloitte), Desiree Mchard (President, Gibraltar Society of Accountants), Janet Brear (Secretary, Woman in Business), Lorraine Povedano (Deputy President, Gibraltar Insurance Institute), Marc Ellul (Vice-Chairman, Gibraltar Association of Trust and Company Managers), Patrick Caruana (representative of the Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association), Rajkumar Purswani (Business Entrepreneur), Séamus Hayes (Chairman, Gibraltar Bankers Association) and Christian Hernandez (President, Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce).
