Learning from Auschwitz is a Gibraltar registered charity that aims to increase knowledge and understanding of the Holocaust for young people and to clearly highlight what can happen if prejudice and racism become acceptable.

Their main aim is to teach young people from all religious, ethnic and cultural backgrounds what the consequences are of allowing racism, hate and prejudice to take root in our society.

They do this by organising a 4-stage project, part of which involves taking 17 year old students to see the concentration camps in Auschwitz in Poland where 6 million Jews and 5 million others were killed not for who they were but for what they were.

On 3 November the group selected presented their project at the University of Gibraltar mainly to members of the public.
