Employability is a key theme of the School of Business with all undergraduate students benefiting from guaranteed placements with local organisations.
This new initiative with the GFSB will show local businesses how masters and undergraduate students can support them through research projects, market insights, digital innovation, business development ideas and modern management approaches, while giving our students valuable real-world experience.
The collaboration will start in the upcoming 2026/27 academic year, with Business School students undertaking a range of projects for local businesses which will then be incorporated into assessments. Examples of these include designing a mobile phone app, incorporating businesses as case studies for management strategy and various other IT integration projects.
