Saturday 13th February saw another successful GibTalks event as 17 speakers took to the stage at the John Mackintosh Hall Theatre to share personal insights, perspectives and experiences.
Gibtalks organiser Julian Felice was inspired by the TedTalks format and used a traffic light system to ensure speakers kept to 15 minutes allocated to them.
The University¹s Vice-Chancellor, Prof Daniella Tilbury, spoke about creating a future vision for Gibraltar based on real choices and called for the decolonising of minds as well as our education systems. Other speakers included the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo, musician and television/radio personality Richard Cartwright as well as sports leader John Goncalves. The talks will be televised by GBC in the coming months.
