Biography

Clare is a graduate from Royal Holloway, University of London, achieving a first in Economics and Mathematics. In only her second undergraduate year, Clare was selected for what was then the 4th top graduate programme in the Uk; Teach First. During her time working with the charity, she gained a PGCE (distinction) from Canterbury Christchurch University and taught in a challenging school in London for two years. Clare also undertook the Teach First Leadership and Management programme which is supported by Imperial College’s Tanaka Business School.

Upon returning to Gibraltar, she worked in a number of banking positions, including that of Corporate Relationship Manager at Jyske Bank (now known as Trusted Novus Bank). In 2017 she decided to leave the banking world and focus on education.

Clare has been lecturing at the University of Gibraltar since 2015, firstly delivering the University of London course and then, local courses. She currently lectures on the Bachelor of Business Administration programme, teaching Business Economics and Business Data Analysis.

In 2019, Clare was selected as a potential trustee for Cancer Relief Gibraltar. She was formally appointed to the board of trustees in 2020.
