Eric currently lectures on the Accounting and Reporting module at postgraduate level.
Eric is the CFO of an online gaming company in Gibraltar and has over 25 years of financial and management experience in distribution, manufacturing, investment banking and online gaming gained in South Africa, UK and Gibraltar. In previous roles, Eric has been approved by over 40 gaming regulators globally (including Singapore and Nevada) and is also a Knowledge Manager in a sell side securities/stockbroking environment, standardising valuation models for sell side analysts and improving the cohesion of research shared with asset managers and pension funds.
Eric has an MBA from Wits Business School (South Africa) and the title of the dissertation was “Risk mitigation strategies used by retailers expanding into Africa” . Eric’s tertiary education began with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, followed by a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree from the University of Stellenbosch. Eric has been a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA) since 2003.
Eric has previously taught the “Introduction to Financial Management” course part time at Damelin (South Africa) and repeatedly appeared as a guest lecturer to the third year Strategic Finance MBA elective at Wits Business School, presenting current and terminal rolling PE models and reporting.
He first moved to Gibraltar in 2006 and has had a variety of roles in both the UK and Gibraltar since.
