Dr. Melinda Ratkai obtained her multiple disciplinary PhD in Management and Economics of SMEs from the Departments of Economics and Statistics (responsible), Financial Economics, Accounting and Operations Management, and Business and Marketing Management at the University of Huelva (Spain) in 2014. She also has a BA in International Relations, a BSc in Economics and Commerce, a Master in Tourism Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Science.
In the early years of her career she worked with various stakeholders for different types of industry (hospitality, marketing, pharmaceutical and others) and universities. She is also active as assistant editor of the International Journal of Digital Accounting Research, as well as author of various internationally cited research papers and book chapters. She has a genuine interest in turning research into viable business opportunities.
