Prithwis Banerjee is the senior lecturer of the School of Maritime Science.
He holds a postgraduate certificate in education and taught in higher and further education settings in UK and in India for a number of years.
He has years of sea experience on various vessels and sailed as Chief Engineer.
He also has several years of shore experience as Technical Superintendent, Operations Manager and was involved in ship building and retrofitting projects.
His qualifications include M.Sc, B.Eng., PGCE and COC Class One.
