Biography

Rebecca obtained her Bachelor’s in English and American Literature at Kent University. She subsequently completed a PGCE and taught at Bayside Secondary School for thirteen years, where she became the Post-Sixteen Coordinator. During that time, she enjoyed teaching English language and literature to students from Years 8 to 13.

Rebecca has completed an MA in D. H. Lawrence with Nottingham University and an MA in Creative Writing with the University of Lancaster. She is currently pursuing a PhD with the University of Gibraltar. Her thesis explores expressions of local culture and identity in the works of Mark Sanchez and Trino Cruz.
