Student Perspective | Patricia Vidal Geraldino | Master in Marine Science & Climate Change

MSc Marine Science & Climate Change
12th October 2022

What brought you to the University of Gibraltar?

My motivation for coming to the University of Gibraltar was my longing to Learn how science is conducted in other places worldwide. Also, to gain knowledge of the local marine life here where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean.

How has your experience of the programme and the university been so far?

Everyone has been really nice and helpful from the lecturers to the SEO team, i have been fully supported in my students and know this level of care will continue throughout my time here at the University of Gibraltar. In terms of student life for the months that I have already been here there have been a host different activities and there is always something on. The university has a great environment to study it has made me think more about what I will be working towards after I achieve my Masters, for now I expect to continue into a PhD programme or a job, we will see what the future holds.

“The university has a great science programme that covers all topics. The knowledge gain in this program will open many opportunities for them.”
