Do you want to improve your communication skills but have a busy schedule? Our 2-hour a week conversation courses are designed for busy learners who want to improve their speaking and listening skills in a relaxed and interactive environment. Each week, students will participate in guided discussions on a variety of engaging topics to boost fluency, build vocabulary, and develop confidence in real-life, practical situations. The focus is on natural, authentic language use, pronunciation, and cultural nuances. By the end of the course, you will feel more comfortable expressing your thoughts, engaging in discussions, and navigating everyday conversations in the target language.

We aim to assist you to:

Enhance your fluency: Speak more naturally with fluency and less hesitation.

Broaden your vocabulary: Expand your topic-specific and conversational vocabulary.

Improve listening skills: Understand a wider range of spoken language and adapt to different accents and speech patterns.

Build confidence: Feel more self-assured when participating in conversations on a range of topics.

Expand cultural awareness: Gain a deeper insight into cultural aspects of the target language to enhance communication.

Course delivery

Each week will cover a different theme to ensure diverse practice and exposure to a wide range of vocabulary and contexts. Activities will vary to keep lessons engaging, combining pair work, group discussions, role plays, and real-life simulations. Students will engage in peer-to-peer discussions, role-plays, and debates to encourage spontaneous language use.

Entry profile

This course is ideal for intermediate to advanced learners who wish to improve their conversational fluency and ability to communicate effectively in informal and semi-formal settings. A minimum of a B1 (Pre-intermediate) level is recommended.
