About this course

Our individual dates for STCW Basic Safety courses are still currently being arranged if you require to book separately.
Under STCW, all new entrants to the maritime industries are required to complete an STCW Basic Safety Training Week before joining a vessel.
It is made up of the following courses:
These courses can be taken individually or can be taken together in this cost saving package.
STCW requires all seafarers to receive familiarization and basic safety training or instruction in accordance with section A-VI/1 of the STCW Code. The minimum requirements for familiarization and basic safety training are contained within the Basic Safety Training Week and meet the appropriate standard of competence.

Successful delegates will be awarded with an MCA approved STCW certifications after a short exam.
