On the 8th of June 2022, the University of Gibraltar had the honour and privilege of welcoming Prince Edward, The Earl of Wessex, to Europa Point Campus as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

While here, the Earl was taken on a tour of our historic campus. Our Board of Governors and staff members greeted His Majesty during this tour.

The remainder of the visit was spent getting to know our Nursing, Maritime, Marine, PhD, Education and Business students, as well as our alumni, while participating in several student-led activities.

The University of Gibraltar would like to thank His Royal Highness for taking the time to visit and for providing memories that will be treasured for years to come.
