How was your experience on the course?
The course was a revelation in my English learning and a priceless experience. I really enjoyed the course. Today I feel more confident having a conversation. The organisation of the course was excellent, the flexibility of the schedule was a success. The support of the University and the follow-up focused on stand-out results.
What did you think about your tutors?
The tutor was undoubtedly the architect of my results. He constantly encouraged me to improve and directed the learning to overcome that fear I have when starting a conversation. My tutor worked to strengthen my listening and speaking skills. My teacher gave me tools to improve my understanding and on the other hand, he adapted the course program and schedules according to my work needs.
I really enjoyed the new phonics tools, which I used for the first time in my student years. I have detected my weaknesses in the use of the English language, which is allowing me to continue reinforcing my learning and dedicate my time to self-training. On the other hand, the use of songs in phonetic transcription was a pleasant discovery.
How has the course helped your English language skills
The course has strengthened my listening and expression skills. As a result, I maintain fluid communication with my co-workers and my work environment. I have been able to make small presentations in English associated with my university studies. In the workplace I have been able to interact in English with other people outside of Gibraltar and the result has been incredible. Thanks to the course and the support of my tutor, my work results have increased.
