Soap Recycling workshop

There is an unimaginable amount of soap thrown away each year by hotels, in stark contrast where 2.2 million people die because they can not wash their hands. Of these 2.2 million a majority (1.5 million) of them are children.

Aude Godard, a Junior Relationship Manager in Turicum Private Bank has founded a charity called LILHAYA Foundation. The aim is to recycle used soaps from hotels in Gibraltar and Spain and send them to third world countries.

Aude will provide a workshop in the University of Gibraltar on Wednesday 26th of September at 5:30pm for students and university staff to join.

Go veggie for the day

One of the major ways we can become more sustainable is by eating clean, environmentally friendly produced foods. A major source of this is vegetables. Aim to become a vegetarian for the day and join the cause.
