I have gained many transferable skills that I currently apply to my role as project manager and course leader at an educational NGO in the Netherlands. Besides developing myself as a researcher, I have significantly improved my science communication skills during my time at UniGib. This is very useful in my daily work in which I conduct sustainability courses with maritime professionals, bridging the gap between science and people working with the ocean.
