The Creation Of A Gibraltar Repository

9th September 2015
  1. Are you author of a published journal article, monograph or book on Gibraltar?
  2. Was Gibraltar the focus of your undergraduate or postgraduate research thesis?
  3. Do you house a collection of Gibraltar or Gibraltar-related texts that you would like to make accessible to others?
  4. Are you a film-maker or artist that has captured a sense of Gibraltar’s place, identity or history?

If you have answered ‘yes’ to any of the above questions, we are keen to hear from you.

The University of Gibraltar, in partnership with the John Mackintosh Library, Gibraltar Garrison Library, Gibraltar Botanic Gardens, the Gibraltar Museum, Gibraltar National Archives and Gibraltar Health Authority Library is seeking to develop a repository on Gibraltar. The intention is to build a repository that can support academic study as well as public interest in Gibraltar related studies. The repository will bring together current texts housed across our libraries via a central cataloguing system but also build new collections.

If you are able to make a contribution to our repository please contact us via email: or call us at 200 71000 for more information. Donors will have an opportunity to join a tour of the University campus and meet senior staff. Donations will be formally acknowledged in the catalogue and will be stamped with the donators details. The University will make every effort to ensure that copyright is protected.
