The Friends Of Gibraltar Heritage Society Postgraduate Student Bursary Scheme

14th June 2016

The University of Gibraltar and the UK-based Friends of Gibraltar Heritage Society are pleased to announce the launch of a Postgraduate Bursary Scheme.

The bursary scheme has been set-up to support the work of any postgraduate student of the University who is undertaking history (including natural history) and heritage-related study and research. It is open to students studying across a range of disciplines provided the bursary monies can be used to the benefit of Gibraltar by preserving its fabric, evolving environment and way of life.

The bursary is worth £1,000 and will be available on an annual basis. It will be awarded through a process of open competition, overseen by the University’s Research and Research Degrees Committee.

The bursary competition is now open to University post-graduate students and the closing date for applications is Friday 1st July. The bursary winner is expected to be announced later in the summer.
