The Gibraltar Cardiac Association donate a 12 lead ECG machine to the School of Health

The University of Gibraltar's School of Health would like to thank The Cardiac Association for their very kind donation of a 12 lead ECG recording machine to the university earlier this week.

The University of Gibraltar’s School of Health would like to thank the Gibraltar Cardiac Association for their very kind donation of a 12 lead ECG recording machine to the university earlier this week.
The ECG will allow our Adult Nursing Students to learn to track heart rhythms and electrical activity on campus, adding to the development of their essential practical skills that they will be able to take forward into their professional careers.
“I would like to express my wholehearted thanks on behalf of the UoG and the School of Health Sciences to the Gibraltar Cardiac Association on their kind donation of a 12 lead ECG. The 12 lead ECG machine will enhance students’ knowledge and understanding of cardiac monitoring, whilst encouraging students to learn essential practical skills on patient dignity and respect when applying the ECG leads. The students will be able to practice the skills in our simulation suite, which is a safe environment, supported and guided by experienced practitioners”.
