University Funded By EU To Participate In International Expert Meetings

University of Gibraltar academic and support staff attended an international meeting of higher education experts that was convened as part of the University Educators for Sustainable Development (UE4SD) Project. The meeting funded by the EU Erasmus initiative was hosted by the Autonomous University of Madrid at the Cultural Centre “La Corrala” in Madrid, on 22-24th November 2015. The meeting proved valuable as matters associated with quality assurance, leadership and international exchange were discussed.

The Copernicus Alliance of Universities hosted an international conference to coincide with the expert meetings in Madrid. Programme Director, Daniella Tilbury was a keynote speaker at the conference and shared a panel with the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Alcala as well as the Chief of Education at the United Nations Programme for the Environment.
