University Of Gibraltar At The Centre Of A European Higher Education Project

The University of Gibraltar participated in the UE4SD Higher Education Academy that was held in Granada during 12-15th April, actively contributing to the Steering Group that supports four universities seeking institutional change in favour of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD): the University of Granada, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the University of Girona and the University of the Basque Country. The University of Gibraltar lead practical workshops and participated in panel discussions mapping the risks and opportunities of institutional changes working towards ESD.

The meeting also convened UE4SD project’s Steering Group members from the University of Gloucestershire, the Autonomous University of Madrid, Leuphana University of Lüneburg, Charles University of Prague and the University of Glasgow.

The Academy Experience and the Online Platform will be launched at Gibraltar’s Conference on the 27th and 28th June 2016.
