University Attends Rome Meeting Of The un-Sustainable Development Solutions Network For The Mediterranean

The General Assembly of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network for (MED) met in Rome on the 16th February.  This partnership aims to promote practical problem-solving for sustainable development, including the design and implementation of sustainable development goals with a focus on the Mediterranean region.

Dr Darren Fa, the University’s Director of Academic Programmes and Research, represented the University of Gibraltar at this meeting. The University of Gibraltar will be formally joining the network and hosting the SDSN’s General Assembly in 2017.

Professor Angelo Riccaboni, Rector of the University of Siena and a member of the University of Gibraltar’s Academic Board Chairs this international UN Network.
