University Of Gibraltar Recieves EU Funds And Joins Erasmus Academic Network

The UK European Funding Office has confirmed that the University of Gibraltar will participate in a large scale EU project funded under the Life Long Learning Programme – Erasmus Academic Networks. This University Project brings together 55 partners in 33 countries during its three year duration. It focuses on supporting teaching colleagues to prepare students, regardless of course or specialization, to understand and apply global responsibility.

Professor Daniella Tilbury, the recently appointed Vice-Chancellor of the University of Gibraltar, is the International Project Director for this initiative that attracted 600,000 euros of funding.  The University of Gibraltar has received funding to support course development as well as to travel to international meetings and share experiences with academic partners. Funding has also been provided for the University of Gibraltar to host the final project conference in September 2016 which will welcome over 100 participants from 33 countries to Gibraltar.
