Important notice: upcoming changes to visa requirements
Visa arrangements for studying in Gibraltar are due to change pending ratification of the UK-EU Gibraltar Trade and Mobility Agreement.
As this new framework is finalised and implemented, some of the information currently available will be updated to reflect the new arrangements for students travelling to and studying in Gibraltar. Students should not progress any visa applications for entry September 2026 until informed by the student services team.
What this means for prospective students
- Easier travel arrangements between Gibraltar and the EU are anticipated
- Guidance will be available once the new arrangements are confirmed
